Khel Banzon (a shredmanila brother and progressive guitar instrumentalist) using my aria stg004(stock parts) stratocaster with olympia HQ 10s playing through the barber dirty bomb and a charvel US 20-watt amp... FYI, the amp has a lot of treble... video was taken at my house 8/10/09, 10am.
dirty bomb settings - volume - 10 o'clock, treble - 10:30, bass - 3:30, gain 2:30, internal trim pot - 4 o'clock.
notice that at the initial part of the video, the guitar volume knob was rolled down... hence, giving that bluesy overdriven sound... then was rolled up to get that dirty bomb high gain distorted sound... in the latter part of the video, khel used the neck pickup for that cool lead sound...

Khel Banzon's review/comment:
I was hesitant at first when Chox invited me to try the Dirty Bomb.
From the name itself, I’d expected to hear a dirt pedal with over clocked gain.
It was a morning of “Chug chug” until the Dirty Bomb proved that I am mistaken.
I roll the volume knob of the guitar and it gave me a nice crunch. I found myself strumming some funky chords and hearing all the notes without losing definition.
After a couple of tweaks in the High & Low knobs it gave me a stellar sweet distorted tone that made me crave to do some bends & slides on the guitar.
What a range for a small box!
I only had less than an hour to test the pedal and I knew instantly that it wasn’t enough.
Talk about zero mushiness, talk about note clarity, talk about sweet gain to angry squeals, Dirty Bomb got it all.
Thanks to Chox for letting me experience this truly brilliant pedal by Barber Electronics!
